This qualification is an introductory qualification to the automotive retail, service and repair industries and an entry to further training in several sectors. It is designed for application in a highly supervised context, such as VET in Schools (VETiS) or other equivalent introduction or induction to industry environments.

Certificate I in Construction (CPC10111)

This qualification provides an introduction to the construction industry, its culture, occupations, job roles and workplace expectations. The units of competency cover essential work health and safety requirements, the industrial and work organisation structure, communication skills, work planning, and basic use of tools and materials. The qualification is built around a basic construction project unit that integrates the skills and embeds the facets of employability skills in context.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who participate in a range of routine and predictable hospitality work activities. They work under close supervision and are given clear directions to complete tasks.

This qualification provides a pathway to work in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.
Whilst we are not currently delivering Certificate I in Hospitality as a full qualification, a pathway program may be available for this industry through FSK10213 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways.
For example, Fast Food Fridays is part of our LifeSkills Express Program and has been designed to cater for people with a disability who may want to move into supported employment.

Job roles

This qualification aims to develop literacy and numeracy skills alongside industry skills to provide a pathway into higher qualifications.

These programs are designed for people with Disabilities who may wish to enter supported employment or who are already in workplace and would like to formalise their skills.

Certificate II in Agriculture (AHC20110)

This qualification provides a general vocational outcome in agriculture. The qualification enables individuals to select a livestock production, cropping or livestock context as a job focus or, in the case of mixed farming enterprises, both cropping and livestock.

Individuals with this qualification carry out routine tasks under general supervision and exercise limited

autonomy with some accountability for their own work. Job roles vary across different industry sectors and may include:

  • Assistant animal attendant/stockperson
  • Assistant farm or station hand
  • Assistant farm or station worker
  • Assistant farm or station labourer.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of junior administrative positions who perform a range of mainly routine tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge in a defined context. Certificate II in Construction Pathways (CPC20211)

This qualification provides a pathway to the primary trades in the construction industry with the exception of plumbing. Trade outcomes are predominantly achieved through an Australian Apprenticeship and this Certificate II allows for inclusion of skills suited for entry to off-site occupations, such as joinery and shopfitting as well as carpentry, bricklaying and other occupations in general construction.
This Certificate II is designed to introduce learners to the recognised trade callings in the construction industry and provide meaningful credit in a construction industry Australian Apprenticeship. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that are required in most Certificate III qualifications. The elective options are structured to allow choice from areas of trade skills as an introduction to a range of occupations.

This qualification reflects the role of retail sales personnel involved in a defined range of tasks to sell and demonstrate beauty or cosmetic products. They follow known routines and procedures and work under direct supervision.

This qualification provides a pathway to work as a retail sales consultant in any business that sells beauty or cosmetic products and services. This can include beauty and hairdressing salons, retail outlets and department stores.

If you want to join a caring profession, Certificate III in Individual Support will give you the preparation
you need. Learn how to provide effective support to older and disadvantaged people at a range of
different care levels.
This qualification will enable you to work in residential facilities and carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of living for people in an aged care setting or in the disability support setting in the community or in a group home situation.
Suitable for people who would like to establish a career in aged care or disability support, it is also
relevant to those who are already working in the field of aged care, homecare or disability under
direct supervision, and looking to develop new skills and further their career.
