Adriana Rozada

Adriana Rozada was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she received her early education and studied English as a SecondAdriana Rozada Language for 10 years. After secondary college she studied at the University of Morón in Buenos Aires for four years and obtained her degree in Translation, with majors in Grammar and Literature in both English and Spanish as well as Law. She became a member of the BA Translators’ Association in 1982. Later she studied Conference Interpreting and eventually started her own Language Services company, providing translation, interpreting and language instruction.

In 1996, Adriana attended the World Conference of the F.I.T. (International Translators Federation) in Melbourne and decided to live in Australia. In 1999 she studied at La Trobe University, where she got her Graduate Diploma in Education , with majors in English and LOTE. She also taught Spanish Language in Central Victoria for ten years.

René Miles

René has extensive knowledge and experience in information technology and telecommunications systems, including design, construction, operation, management and maintenance. The list of qualifications in René's impressive resume include a Bachelor of Information Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Management Communications and two Associate Diplomas covering Business Systems and Electronic Engineering. In addition to his work in the industry with Telstra as Project Manager and Kempsey Shire Council as IT&C Manager René keeps up to date with technology through his own business, Milestone Info Services. René joined the College in October 2008 and teaches a broad range of courses in Information Technology applications and systems both accredited and non-accredited.

 

Mike Kane


Mike Kane

In his lilting Scottish brogue, Mike imparts to his students his passion and skills in all things photographic. Mike has gathered himself an impressive resume since embarking on his photographic career in the UK. He had his own studio for 15 years and has a national certificate in Photography (Studio Lighting, Portraiture, Architecture, Product, Industrial and Reportage). Mike has worked in advertising preparing photographic material for brochures and training presentations. He has also covered sporting events, concerts, the Edinburgh Festiv

al and the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. In 2007 he held an exhibition of his photography at Edinburgh Zoo to raise funds for the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital which included a presentation to Edinburgh Zoological Society and running courses for students on digital wildlife photography. Awarded a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society in 2005, Mike immigrated to Australia in 2007.

Kim Rayner

Kim RaynerKim is an experienced trainer with Surf Life Saving Australia and her speciality at the College is conducting training in First Aid and CPR. Kim is a contract trainer for SLSA and has also contributed as a volunteer for nine years. She is currently registered as a trainer for SLSA in Senior First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management, Resuscitation and CPR Updates. Kim has an impressive 32 years of surf life saving experience and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her training. Kim has recently updated her training qualifications to the TAE40110 and has facilitated various awards approved by SLSA.

 

Kim Staples

Kim StaplesKim Staples was born in Paddington, NSW and grew up mainly in the northern beaches of Sydney. From an early age she showed a natural talent and an affinity for art. Kim designed and sold business and greeting cards while still in her teens years and after finishing school, continued to utilise her creative skills in drafting for 18 years. In the 1970s Kim worked as an interior decorator in England. The training she acquired in colour still impacts her work today. On returning to Australia Kim decided to diversify her skills and this is when she began her professional development in the area of training and facilitation. Kim and her family moved to Port Macquarie, NSW in 2003. The natural beauty of the land inspired Kim to renew her passion for art by completing a Certificate IV in Visual Arts. The natural synthesis of Kim's professional and personal development journey led her to study and then begin a career as an art trainer and art therapist.

Her background includes Community Health, Art Therapy, Psychodrama, Private Counselling Practice, teaching Counselling at a Diploma and Degree Level, and facilitating Personal & Spiritual Growth Workshops for over 29 years.
