Beauty Pathway Program

This is a unique, two-part pathway program especially designed to prepare students to transition seamlessly to the completion of SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services in the future.
In Part 1, as you embark on your hands-on learning journey, you will have support to enhance or improve your study skills, preparing you for the challenges of vocational learning by completing a FSK10113 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways.
In Part 2, whilst continuing with the hands-on beauty industry skills development, students will complete FSK20113 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways which will assist you to develop a firm footing for future career opportunities by building vital skills in the Beauty Industry, putting you ahead of the game.

National Qualifications

Certificate II in Retail Cosmetics (SHB20116)

This qualification reflects the role of retail sales personnel involved in a defined range of tasks to sell and demonstrate beauty or cosmetic products. They follow known routines and procedures and work under direct supervision.

This qualification provides a pathway to work as a retail sales consultant in any business that sells beauty or cosmetic products and services. This can include beauty and hairdressing salons, retail outlets and department stores.

Whilst we are not currently delivering Certificate II in Retail Cosmetics as a full qualification, a pathway program may be available for this industry through FSK10113 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways, please contact the college for more information or download a sample flyer here

Certificate III in Business (BSB30115)

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of junior administrative positions who perform a range of mainly routine tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge in a defined context. Individuals in these roles generally work under direct supervision.
Whether you just want to brush up on your office administration skills, or you need to start from scratch, this course will teach you the basics of working in a business environment.
This course has been designed to teach you about different procedures in business including becoming proficient in office technology, how to deal with customers and develop your written communication skills.
